This course prepares the purchase cardholder to use the purchase card in a responsible and accountable manner through examining the laws, rules, policies, and procedures within the purchase card program. You will identify the roles and responsibilities of state agencies, the contract holder, and county employees. You will also examine the process required to participate in the purchase card program. This course will explore the steps in a typical purchase card transaction, including the forms that are used. You will learn the methods of purchase, purchase card limits, and other key elements related to cardholder purchases through examples. This course is a requirement for the purchase cardholder before a purchase card is issued.

You have successfully registered for on line training. You have sixty days (60) to complete the class once you begin. To access the class go to https://learn.extension.okstate.edu Click on "County P Card Training", click on enroll. If you have not taken an online class before you will need to set up a new account for Canvas training. This is different from your CTP account. A full name and unique email address must be provided by each individual taking the class. Email addresses may not be shared for online training. Log in, when prompted, using the PUBLIC log in option. Also, be sure to enter the promo code R2P6Z9. The County Training Program will email you an invoice for the $40 class fee at a later date. "The courses are interactive. You will need to use your mouse and keyboard to answer questions, continue, etc. " The courses take approximately 3 hours to complete, but you have 60 days to work on them. " You can use a phone, but a computer makes it easier to see and access everything. " If you do use a phone, the Canvas Student app is recommended. " The "How to Succeed" activity is recommended to those new to e-learning, It is located in the initial "Start Here" module.
